Japanese Heritage Discovery

Rural & Tribal Villages
Watch the fingers of the Mandayan women at work weaving traditional patterns onto a hemp-based fabric known as dagmay. The men craft the dagmay by hand into bags, shoes and wall hangings.
At the T’Boli Weaving Center, watch the colorful tribe of T’Boli women as they handvloom the intricate tinalak fabric. More tribal art can be gleaned at the nearby Davao Museum.
